Mommy's school had their Treat Street on Friday night. I dressed up as a shark! We had a mummy wrap contest, an eat the worm contest, and a costume contest. I didn't win but it was fun. We also got lots and lots of candy!

We did paintball to celebrate Adi's birthday. It was fun but those paintballs hurt when they hit you!

October 18, 2014 - Navy Fleet Fest

We went to Viriginia for Adi's birthday. We went to the Navy Fleet Fest on Friday. I got to show off to the Marine's how I can do pullups. I also got to go into a Blackhawk and two other helicopters. We went on board the USS Theodore Roosevelt. It's the ship Aunt Chea is stationed on!

Birthday Celebration!!!

My birthday was Monday! I turned 9 years old! It was awesome! Mom started out my week celebration by taking me to the movies on Friday evening. We watched Maze Runner. It was really cool but weird. We went out for icecream Friday night too! Saturday, we went to a haunted trail called Wompus Woods with Katie and Josh. It was fun and very scary for me. I kept my eyes closed almost the whole time. Mommy screamed a couple times. Sunday we ordered my cake, watched movies, and played SkipBo. On my birthday, I went to wrestling then Mommy took me to dinner at Logan's Steakhouse. They gave me icecream with chocolate syrup for dessert. It was yummy. I got a giftcard for Target from Aunt Brenda and Mommy let me open all of my little gifts.

Tuesday was my party with all of my friends. We had pizza, cake and icecream, a cookie cake. We played at the park too! I got some awesome presents from my friends - a remote control helicopter, a bag I can color, Twister Rave, a surfer girl picture, a snake book, a bracelet maker, a sweat suit, a basketball, a jump rope, $20, and a $15 giftcard to Target! I screamed when Mommy gave me my "big" gift even though it was the smallest gift! It was a giftcard to go to the US National Whitewater Center. I get to go ziplining and on ropes courses. I'll get to spend the whole day there and do all sorts of fun stuff!! I can't wait!

Such a fun time! It's going to be a fun rest of the week too! I have a field trip at school today and tomorrow I get to go roller skating with my afterschool program! Mom says that if the weather is nice on Friday, we may go to the whitewater center on Friday since I don't have school. If the weather is bad, we'll leave for Virginia on Friday morning. We're going to Virginia for Adi's birthday party at Aunt Chea's. We get to go on a bunch of Navy ships on Saturday because there is something special going on there this weekend.

October 4, 2014 - Almost Done Being 8 Years Old

Mom and I went out and looked at places to have my birthday party. We have decided to have my birthday party at a natural history museum the day after my birthday! It will be so much fun! While I'm waiting to turn 9, Mommy and I did pictures today to end being 8 years old! Enjoy!

September 15 - 30, 2014

I'm having fun at Girls on the Run and wrestling. School is going great! I love science! Getting ready for my 9th birthday too! Lots of fun stuff will happen in October - my birthday, my friend Adireal's birthday (he's having a paint ball party!), my cousin Savannah's birthday, mom's school's treat street event, Halloween, fall festival at school, and my first 5K!! Lots of pictures to come in October!

Went to a play with Mommy at the Blumenthal Fine Arts Center in Charlotte to see a girl who went to high school with mom in this play. It was funny and had lots of music and singing. We had fun!

September 14, 2014 - My First Triathlon!

I completed my first triathlon on September 14. It was really hard but it was fun too! I swam 75 meters, biked 1 mile, and ran .75 miles. It was a good start since I'm starting Girls on the Run too and we get to complete two 5Ks  - one on October 25 and one on December 6.
