March 4 - 19th

My finger finally healed! I got to practice for football with a new football team, but we didn't have enough players for the spring league. Mommy and I did some painting while we were waiting for our new couch to be delivered. We hung out with our neighbor Adam who lets me play football with him and he showed me some wrestling moves. Mommy and I went to dinner for her birthday on the 19th.

Everyone says I need be wrapped in bubblewrap. I got hurt again. This time, I did it myself by accident. I was doing bear crawls at school and stepped on my own finger. I am in a splint for 2 weeks to make sure that it heals up good.

I have a special note for school since it's my left hand and I'm left-handed. It's going to be really hard to write. I can still go to football practice but can't do bear crawls or crab walks because right now we're only doing conditioning. Oh yeah! Spring football has started!!

February 2017 - Sad Times

There isn't much about February that remember, except the worst...Poppy passed away. Mommy said telling me was the hardest thing she's ever had to do. She was in the middle of taking the bar exam when he passed away. I miss him and I'm really sad sometimes.

January 2 - 31, 2017

We didn't do a lot in January. Mom was studying for the bar exam and I was trying to be helpful. But we still had some fun and some not so fun times.

I fell on my wrist and the dr couldn't rule out a growth plate fracture so I was stuck in a cast for 4 weeks!

A restaurant we like has Music Bingo on Thursday night. Mom & I went to dinner and found that out. It was fun!

Mom calls us twins. This is my friend Jacob. Mom took us out to eat at Steak N Shake

My big science project. I typed everything and found the pictures. Mom just printed them. We bought little animals for the posterboard and I brought fruit from the rainforest to school. I got a 100% on my project!

Christmas 2016

We spent Christmas with our family in Missouri. My cousin Alex who is in the Army spent the day with us and we got to meet his girlfriend Jasmine. I went on a long run with Alex. He says I did a mile and a half in about 12 minutes. We also got to puppy sit a German Shepard named Duke which is Trey's new dog. I got to pet baby kittens and hold a baby goat at Aunt Casey's house. I also saw Aunt Rachel, Uncle Zac, Hayleigh, and Emma and Poppy. It was a lot of fun.

December 18, 2016: Charlotte Checkers Hockey Game

I went to my first hockey game with Mommy and my friend Jacob. We saw the Charlotte Checkers. They lost but it was fun to watch. The puck moves really fast on the ice!

December 1 - 13, 2016

We had our football banquet on December 5. Then I had surgery on my left wrist on December 8 to remove a cyst that's been growing larger and larger. Hopefully it will be all better once it heals.
