June 29, 2014 - The Outer Banks of North Carolina

We drove the entire Outer Banks from Roanoke Island to Nags Head, Kill Devil Hills, and Kitty Hawk, up to Southern Shores, Duck, Sanderling, and Corolla. Then we drove back down the Cape Hatteras National Seashore through Bodie Island and stopped at the lighthouse, Pea Island where we went swimming, then through Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, Avon, Buxton, Frisco (where we stayed), to the end of the island at Hatteras. We waited for Aunt Chea to get there with the RV so we would have a place to sleep.
